About BIS

Business & Industry Services provides customized, quality cost-effective training to meet the needs of existing, new and future employers in Lee County. Training takes place at the employer’s job site, Lee County Schools Public Education Center, or at another designated location that will meet the needs of the particular training situation. Business & Industry Services annually provides training for over 1,000 Lee County employees.

Several local businesses use our services to provide customized classes to upgrade their employees’ computer skills and knowledge. These classes take place at our computer classroom at the Public Education Center, or at the employer’s facility. Business & Industry Services also offers computer classes for the general public.

THE MISSION of the Business and Industry Services Program is to provide customized, quality, cost effective training to meet the need of employers.

OUR VISION is to have employers utilize the Business and Industry Services Program as a training resource for enabling their workforce to keep pace with growth, technology changes and economic climates.
